Membership of Sikh Council UK is now open!!
As we fast approach the 5th Administration of Sikh Council UK, it would be a great privilege to have your Gurdwara Sahib/Organisation become renewed/or new affiliated members of Sikh Council UK. Fundamentally with a vision to work collectively as a single united voice on matters of interest to Sikhs.
As such we request you complete the membership form available on the link and return this back to us at your earliest convenience along with the relevant fee of membership. The complete process will be as follows:
- Completed Membership/s to the General Assembly by the Gurdwara Sahib or Sikh organisation must be received by 17th September 2018 (while this is an ongoing and open process we urge everyone to renew their membership before the given date.
- General Assembly of Sikh Council UK will take place on Saturday 13th October 2018
We look forward to our continued work together for the benefit of the Panth through a single cohesive voice.

Nominations forms for Executive Committee
We are pleased to report we have received a significant increase in Gurdwaras and organisations taking up membership for this term including a number of new members. We take this opportunity to thank new you for your support and confidence in Sikh Council UK.
The first General Assembly meeting of the Sikh Council UK will take place on Saturday 13th October 2018.
In the meantime the window is now open for delegates to apply to serve on the Sikh Council UK Executive Committee and express any preferences for serving as Officer Bearers, Assistants or Committee Chairs in the 5th Administration. A nomination form and guidance notes can be found online which provide details on completing the form and the process for selection, criteria and descriptions of roles. Please read the guidance notes before completing the nomination forms. The deadline for receipt of the nomination forms is 1st October 2018.

Affiliation by Organisations
The Sikh Council UK is a membership based organisation which has established Sikh organisations as affiliated members.
Any organisation that has existed in the UK for at least two years and operates for the benefit of the Sikh community can apply to become an Affiliated Member Organisation.
Affiliated Member Organisations include Gurdwaras, local & regional Gurdwara Councils, Jathebandis, campaign groups, women’s groups, young people groups, schools and educational organisations, social and welfare organisations and NGO’s.

Important Notes
- For Gurdwaras wishing to affiliate to Sikh Council UK please complete Forms 1a and 2a.
- For other organisations wishing to affiliate to Sikh Council UK please complete Forms 1b and 2a.
