Overall objectives and work stream to develop and deliver :

• Monitor demographic, social and economic trends in the community in order to inform policy making and encourage good practise in community development

• Create a panel of legal experts to provide legal advice and support other sub committees and task groups as well as undertake scrutiny of government policies and judgements and how they affect the Sikh Community

• Develop strategies and policies to safeguard Sikh interests, achieve aspirations and respond to current and future issues
